I love using vivid, contrasting pigments. My three favorite are Prussian Blue, Alizarin Crimson, and Yellow Ochre. Bright powerful love them.
When I started this piece as I finished the sky I thought it looked like it belonged on the cover of a 70’s metal album so that’s where I went with it. Scrapping and brushing and spritzing until I was pleased with it.
Where was I going with the comments about colors? Those were the only colors I used on this.
