I’ve been quiet for a couple years.
AI makes me angry. I see hits occurring on my site. Search engines only touch the top level. These are looking through all my art and I can only assume They are scrapping art to train the LLMs and it makes me angry.
What right do they have to steal my hard work to train their not intelligent algorithms, and then chop it up and spew it out as not art. Fuck every one of them. They’re harming the environment to make a buck.
It’s a new Industrial Revolution!!! Yeah, and they Fucked up the environment then too…
You can’t fight it. It’s progress!!! No, no it’s not. Progress would be AI that runs little bots to mow my lawn, do my laundry, pay my bills, and remind me of my appointments. I don’t need it to do the fun things that feed my soul.
So I’ve been silent. Scared of having what comes from my soul stolen by money grubbing corporations that are allowed to bribe…I mean donate to politicians to look the other way, delay protection of our creations. Europe protects their artists but the US, nah, screw those artists.
But still…One can’t live in fear so I’ll post again. I dropped a lot of the last couple years worth of art into my portfolio feel free to look at it unless you’re training an AI. Then you can fuck right off.
