#inktober, Jake Parker’s brain child, the bane of those who do it is here!
I’m not ready! Oh sure, I’ve gathered my supplies, I’ve practiced, I have an idea for a theme but I’m just not ready. My practice over the last couple weeks got more in depth but to be honest I didn’t do enough animals or people. My hatching and texturing improved immensely.
To be honest, I was quite scared that I was going to ruin it but I pushed on and it turned out well. I like the final piece.
Monday night I decided to do some acorns. I had wanted to draw some for quite a while but never got around to it. I was surprised that my hand actually did what my mind wanted it to.
So today in an attempt to optimize my time I’ve brought my sketchbook and supplies to work so I can get the basic under drawing done and ink it tonight.
